Small-business IT support

IT support at the level your business needs.

Get help with an immediate problem, introduce proactive monitoring and maintenance, or place ongoing responsibility for your technology with Opriva. Start where you are and develop the arrangement as the need changes.

Based in Littlehampton and supporting organisations across West Sussex and the UK. A brief initial conversation helps establish the situation and whether Opriva is the right fit—you do not need to diagnose the problem first.

Flexible ways to work with us

Start with the support that makes sense now.

Not every business needs a fully managed service. The right arrangement depends on the internal capability, the technology involved and how much responsibility you want Opriva to take.

01

Ad-hoc IT assistance

Practical help with an individual fault, change or technical requirement without committing to an ongoing support agreement. We agree the initial scope and authority before chargeable work begins.

  • Remote or onsite assistance where appropriate
  • Specific incidents, changes and specialist input
  • A practical route for occasional support
02

Monitoring and maintenance

Proactive oversight for businesses that retain day-to-day responsibility but want better visibility of device health, patching and agreed security or backup conditions.

  • Remote device monitoring
  • Operating-system and application patching
  • Agreed alert review and escalation

Monitoring identifies agreed conditions; it is not by itself a complete helpdesk or fully managed service.

03

Managed IT support

Ongoing assistance and maintenance across agreed users, devices and services, with responsibilities and response arrangements defined around the business.

  • User and device support
  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Monitoring, security and backup oversight
04

Fully managed technology

Wider responsibility for the technology environment, combining day-to-day support with planning, lifecycle management, supplier coordination and continual improvement.

  • Technology planning and standards
  • Infrastructure and supplier coordination
  • Regular reviews and improvement priorities

Different arrangements can be combined across systems. For example, devices and Microsoft 365 can be managed while specialist applications remain supported on an ad-hoc basis.

Practical coverage across the working environment.

Individual products matter, but support works best when devices, identity, information, security, backup and connectivity are considered together.

Microsoft 365 and identity

Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID, licensing, migration, administration and ongoing support.

Devices and user support

Windows devices, maintenance, troubleshooting, remote support, configuration and device lifecycle management.

Cyber security

Microsoft security controls, Bitdefender endpoint protection, email security, identity protection and proportionate risk reduction.

Backup and recovery

Cloud backup, Microsoft 365 protection, Synology storage, recovery planning and practical resilience against data loss.

Infrastructure and connectivity

Networks, Wi-Fi, storage, broadband, telecoms, remote access and coordination across technology suppliers.

Devices, licensing and procurement

Appropriate specification and supply of business devices, software, licensing and supporting technology, with configuration available where required.

The wider Opriva approach

Fix the immediate issue. Understand what sits behind it.

A technology fault may be isolated, but recurring issues often reveal unclear responsibility, ageing infrastructure, disconnected information or a process that no longer works well.

Opriva can resolve the immediate requirement and, where useful, connect it with wider operational improvement, systems integration or a defined project. The support request remains a practical entry point—not a commitment to unnecessary change.

Questions about support

Straight answers before you call.

Do we need an ongoing support agreement?
No. Opriva can assist with an individual issue or defined change. An ongoing arrangement becomes useful where the business needs proactive maintenance, dependable support or clearer responsibility.
Can we begin with monitoring rather than full support?
Yes. Monitoring and maintenance can provide better visibility and patching without transferring responsibility for the whole environment. The exact devices, alerts and actions are agreed before service begins.
Can Opriva work alongside our internal staff or other suppliers?
Yes. Support can be limited to particular users, systems or responsibilities, and we can coordinate with software providers, telecoms companies and other specialists where required.
Can you supply laptops, licensing and security products?
Yes. Opriva can specify and supply devices, Microsoft licensing, security products, backup services and related technology. Supply, implementation and ongoing management are agreed separately so responsibilities remain clear.
